Not Nom?

My latest project using my Basking Shark mesh. I wanted to turn my organic mesh into a cartoonish mesh. A lot of people don't know a lot about Basking Sharks in the US, but they don't behave like normal sharks. I read an article about Basking Sharks being hunted on the Pacific coast because people believed them to be aggressive due to their open mouths and GIANT size. The title came from that situation and what the sharks would say.

zBrush Project - Basking Shark

I wanted to do a project based on a rare animal. Meet the Basking Shark, "The basking shark (Cetorhinus maximus) is the second-largest living fish after the Whale shark and one of three plankton-eating sharksbesides the whale shark and megamouth shark. It is a migration species, found in all the world's temperate oceans. It is a slow-moving filter feeder and has anatomical adaptations for filter feeding, such as a greatly enlarged mouth and highly developed gill rakers."

zBrush Project - Speed Sculpts

Just a few of the "inbetween" projects. The island took 3 hours, the crab around 2 hours, and the heart around an hour. I'm going to work on the lighting for the crab later for a good final render. Enjoy.

zBrush Project - Snow Monkey

This was another one of my projects to see how well I could capture an animal. I choose an ape originally and it turned into a concept for an adventurer.

zBrush Project - JellyFish

I was at work last night and wanted to take a break from my female project so I asked my gf what to draw and she told me "A purplish blue Jellyfish", so here it is.

zBrush Project - One-Eye

I wanted to make a character purely from fiction, so I choose the character "One-Eye" from the book series "The Black Company" by Glen Cook. The character is a battle hardened companion, so I'm trying to go for an aged look. The character in the book is in his late 100's, so I'm trying to do all I can to age accordingly. The skin has to tuck close to the skull and around the neck is stringy and loose, very hard to mold onto a mesh.
